Finally, Something Besides Milk!

Connor got his first taste of real food tonight. He had a few teaspoons of rice cereal. He liked it alot...at least the small amount that actually stayed in his mouth.

Jumpin Jellybeans

Connor has been very active lately--learning how his arms and legs move. This video shows what he does when we lay him on his changing table at bath time.

Bath Time

Connor likes taking baths. He is usually very calm, even when we pour water on his head. Curtis has been taking him out of his tub and letting him float in the water. He likes it, I think, but stays very focused on Curtis.

Giggles

Connor has been getting so big and is soooo much fun. He giggles and smiles and talks. We think he is very talented. :o)

It's Party Time!

Connor attended his first birthday party this afternoon for our neighbor, Michael. He was turning 2! As you can see in the photos, Connor was sooo excited about going. He was also very upset when we had to leave. We both had a good time.

Milk...It Does A Body Good

Connor has been growing like a weed. He seems to change everyday. We recently gave him his first bottle. He took to it very well. Now, we just need to get his spitting up under control.

Connor has also been smiling more. It is sooo adorable. Check it out for yourself. I believe this smile is either sleep or gas induced. Wait for the entire video because he smiles twice.

Fourth of July

Since the baby is due very soon, we decided to stay in Edmond for the Fourth of July. We began on the 3rd by attending Red, White, and Boom--an outdoor show at the downtown airpark. The OKC Philharmonic played patriotic tunes for about an hour and then ended with a fireworks show. Oh, and there was fair food--I couldn't resist a footlong corn dog. Yum-o!

On the 4th, we attended a parade in downtown Edmond. It started out a very cool morning but heated up quickly. Despite the heat, the parade was enjoyable. We saw our share of floats, Shriner clowns, old cars, and high school bands. Later that afternoon, we took a drive in the '50 to Pop's and got some sodey water. Once we got home we made dinner--grilled corn on the cob, chuck steak, and zesty roasted potatoes. We ended the night, with a fabulous fireworks show at UCO. Although, not a Seibold Fireworks show, it was very impressive.
